Losing weight doesn't have to stop just because Jillian left the show. Learn how to begin a routine, meet fitness goals and stay motivated to workout.

Learning of Jillian Michael’s departure from the Biggest Loser leaves many to wonder how millions of Biggest Loser fans will continue on their path to health and fitness. Luckily, with a little research, a trip to the doctor, and a bit of motivation, even those that are extremely overweight can be successful at weight loss and exercising for increased fitness.

Weight Loss Tips

Researching weight loss on the internet will lead to thousands of sites offering all sorts of information on how losing weight can be accomplished. All it takes is a computer and some time to read. Internet information on fitness and health comes from many different venues from fitness professionals to those that have successfully completed the journey. What is great about finding weight loss info on the web is that readers can search at their own pace, taking in as much information as necessary to meet their health and wellness goals.

Starting a Workout Routine

The single best piece of weight loss information is to visit a doctor before starting any type of physical activity. A visit to a physician will involve a complete physical as well as time to get all of your fitness questions answered. While many may think that all that is necessary to beginning a fitness regimen is simply to get moving, this isn’t the case, nor is it safe. Anyone who is moving from a sedentary lifestyle to one that involves physical fitness needs to know how much exercise is advised before starting a program that may be too advanced. When one begins a fitness program that is too complicated or difficult for a beginner, injuries can result as well as a decrease in motivation to continue.

Motivation to Exercise

There are several ways to keep motivation high when starting and continuing a workout routine. One of the easiest ways to stay motivated is to keep a record of progress. By taking photographs and charting health numbers, fitness participants can have proof that they are making improvements to their health. There is nothing more motivating than getting actual visual proof that exercise can improve health and wellness.

Jillian Michaels may be on to bigger and better things, but those that are committed to getting healthier can still benefit from her Biggest Loser legacy, albeit without all of the yelling and screaming. Anyone interested in learning more about health and fitness can start by clicking on many of the blue links around this article. There readers will find a bountiful amount of fitness, health, exercise equipment and motivation information. Best of luck to Jillian on her post Biggest Loser endeavors and your fitness goals!

I am glad that Jillian decided to leave the show. I do wish her luck in what ever she decides to do. Hopefull they will get someone who will not yell scream and belittle those trying to lose weight but encourage and not push Someone untill they pass out, fall, or end up in the hospital.
